Weird luxury

Okay, yesterday, I washed the car and truck. And I thoroughly enjoyed it. Is that weird? I have not hand washed the vehicles in over a year. But it was so pretty out and the car/truck were filthy so I decided what the heck, I'm going to give myself that time. It was nice to focus on that and to not think about all the other things I have on my to do list. Smokey kept me company. And also left me some of his cute paw prints on my car b/c he just HAD to see what I was doing in the truck (wiping windshield). That cat just has to know what you're doing if you're outside, which he considers his territory I suppose.

On a separate note, if you are fan of Big Kahuna, or if haven't been there but love good food...you should try their basil chicken appetizer. They are so yummy! As is almost everything else they do there. They are in the midst of remodeling and already it's shaping up to be an even cooler place to eat and chill. The green color of the building is gone. And the inside is changing quite a bit; as will the name. The new name will be Red Lantern, which I just love, partly b/c I loved the movie Raise the Red Lantern and partly b/c it's a more appropriate name for an Asian restaurant. I had gotten fond of BK however. Oh well, go check them out at the corner of Ashby and Flores in San Antonio. Tell them I sent you, you might get a little extra something, you never know!

Yeah, that one time we all went and we got that yummy dessert soup. That was awesome. Take some pics when they are done remodeling...sounds neat! I do miss it. There is a Thai place across the street from the library that is really good, so I am getting my asian food fix. :)
