Too funny not to post about....
Met some friends at Tong's Thai last week and this time, I made room for my favorite beverage/dessert -- mocha pearl tea. It's the best here in my opinion. And this cup? Too funny, like I said. Here is the text around the edge of the plactic top:
Warning: Tapioca ball must chew before swallow. Children under 5 not suggest to eat.
I love it when you run across interesting translations like this. Sometimes I like to do literal translations of Vietnamese phrases into English. Pretty funny stuff.
Okay, so work's been keeping us both busy, busy. In between work and sleep, we have been clearing up more boxes and files and getting things set up in the office. Just in time too because next week the Florida gang comes for Thanksgiving!! We are all very excited and find it hard to believe that the time is now near. It was just yesterday that our countdown was along the lines of 9 months and counting. Now the girls and I do daily countdown. They are, of course, also working hard to get their school work done so they can have a two week break.
Been doing lots of Christmas shopping these past two weeks. Amazon is my best shopping buddy this year. What a nice thing not to have to drive and search for things and stand in line and honk at bad drivers. Most of my purchases have even been shipped free! So if you haven't done the online shopping thing (Shorty), you should give it a whirl!
Off to bed for me. Thank goodness tomorrow is Thursday! Online two more days until play day. We're thinking of running to Austin in the morning for some in-person Christmas shopping. Should be a fun time. I want to go back to Momoko, that cute little Japanese merchandise place. They also had good pearl tea from what I recall from our last visit. Good night.

The girls are coming! Give them big hugs from me, and maybe hint around what you know will be coming later this year. I am sorry to miss them.
Momoko! You know I wore my red jacket I got at the thrift store when we were there for over a month and EVERYONE commented on how much they liked it. Every time that happened I thought of you and the gang. Good times.
I will Sarah. I wish you could hang with us! :( They do too!
