Our first trip out of town

LBJ Living Farm

Mark's last day was Friday so we celebrated by going to Fredericksburg to shop for some wall sconces we've been wanting for the living room. Despite the chilly (40F) and wet weather, we still pack some snacks for the 2 hour trek. It was so much fun and very relaxing. We walked around just a little bit and found what we needed to see. Then we went to Stonewall, which is not too far from F'burg, and checked out the Lyndon B. Johnson National Park. It was so nice and peaceful there and the drive was beautiful. We both had a really great time and it was wonderful to see Mark so relaxed.

This picture was taken on the LBJ Living Farm. The sheep were so cute but I couldn't get them to come closer, especially once they saw that it was feeding time! You can see the pecking order with the male standing in front. :)

Terrific black and white shot. I like all the different textures. Thanks for pointing out the pecking order.

40 degrees? Chilly? Ha! I think today's high was 25. :) The LBJ Farm sounds cool! Pretty pic too.
