The Good Old Days

Chihuly

It's nice to be home. I had a fabulous day...worked, got my hair cut (love it off my neck, it's so humid and hot here), went to Gift & Gourmet, watched Spiderman 3 with my honey and now I'm enjoying a cup of tea before bed. And blogging. Of course.

I have started to really put my mind to Christmas ideas as it's pretty much September; can you believe it???? I mean, where has the year gone? Someone once told me, long ago, that as you get older, the time seems to go by even faster each day! What?? Stop! I want to enjoy some of these things for a longer time; not faster. Oh well. Better keep writing and stop thinking about losing time.

I found some things for friends here and there. And so it made me think of my friend Sarah. This is a shot from when we went to a meditation class together after work when we were still at the SA Public Library (that seems ages ago!). The class was held at the SA Museum of Art and so we walked under this Chihuly and stopped to gaze a bit. It's lovely. When I look at the colors and glass, I can lose myself in it. I was thinking of Sarah because I was looking at a cool crafted creations site but I can't mention it here as I'm getting gifts from it. BUT, Sarah and I talked and crafted and so I think of you Sarah! I will share the site later! ;)

Oh! This is so sweet. I love that we think of each other at the oddest times. I am excited to see the site you were talking about. We got a book in at the library called Subversive Cross Stitch, and it is so funny, like if Adam were a cross stitcher. I'd link to it, but there is bad language, so google at your own risk!
