Needles & the Thyroid & Firmware
Grr...trying to update the firmware on my new digicam and of course it's not working right. You're supposed to just click "update firmware" and magically, it will update. Except mine won't for some reason. :( It's sort of irritating but I'm trying to be patient. This reminds me of trying to fix my frozen Sansa Monster player. It took some time back and forth with tech support but I finally got it back to life. So, I just need to figure this out. The 1.03 firmware is suppose to help resolve this odd processing thing the z1015 does so I really want to get this done so I can continue testing the camera. Wish me luck.
The needles above are from my thyroid biopsy last week. Though it doesn't seem as bad as a liver biopsy, I would rather not do it again. I will call next week for results. I got poked six times, better than the eight I had was told earlier. I waited until they got the #27 needles in since that's the smallest now available. The higher the number, the smaller the needle. So when we get blood drawn, a #21 is typically used. Unless you are me, then you need baby needles b/c you don't want to give up your blood and people have to really work hard to (1)find a vein and (2)extract enough blood for testing. LOL. Anyway, the doctor ended up also using a #25 and it hurt. It's still a little achy. It's not the insertion of the needle that I mind so much as the moving around INSIDE once it's in there. Ugh. felt horrible.
Sports update: Spurs lost (boo, we're 1 and 4), UT won, #1 Alabama survived LSU (barely), and we'll see how the Cowboys do manana.
