Wow It's HOTT!

I'm talking about the weather! Geez...upper 90s with heat index higher than that, along with intense sun. Saturday is suppose to hit 100. :) Lovely! Also lovely is the pink/green color combination. I LOVE this together. Here's my latest (and only real one) craft project later. I need a craft space so I can spread out. I really also want to get out my beads soon and make some earrings or something. So this is my nameplate contest entry for work. I had so much fun making it! There were so many possibilities but in the end, I decided to go with what makes me feel good.

I love pink and green because it will always remind me of a childhood memory of my dad coloring with me and my siblings. He didn't do that often with us but the one time I remember is when he colored a dress these two colors. I thought it was so different but so pretty. I remember I was really impressed that he was so good - not only at staying in the lines, but also at selecting color combinations I never would have put together.
