Good-bye Olympics, Hello March

Wow, it's already March! Where did January and February go??? The allergies here are terrible! Everyone is suffering with mold or mountain cedar or something. Two weeks ago I had my sinus infection (yuck) and this weekend poor Uncle Mark's cough got really really bad and he went to el doctor who gave him tons of meds and an INHALER! Finally Uncle Mark could breathe again.

Check out my Kolympics medal! I got gold for finishing. Miss Sarah and I are very proud of our participation in the Kolympics. I finished Uncle Tom's present, a scarf for myself and made great progress on Miss Sonia's bag. As a matter of fact, I plan to finish knitting tonight -- I start decreasing the bottom now. Then I knit handles and then FELT. Cool. I'm psyched to finish it now. It's gigantic before felting. I'll post the finished product by this weekend. Then it's on to other projects waiting for me in my box-o-knitting-stuff.

Sweet little Smokey had his annual check up last Friday. He was super good in the car and office. Then he got THREE shots as well as blood pumped from his little arm. She squeezed it like a balloon thing. It was kind of funny though he was not too happy about that part of it all. Also, my little darling has gained 2.2 pounds -- 10.2 lbs! I thought he was a bit heavier when I carried him. Afterwards, he didn't trust me for 1/2 the day thinking if he came into the house again, I would probably take him somewhere again so he played outside. Then he got over it, ate and snuggled with me. He doesn't hold a grudge for long if you play hide and seek with him.

That's it for now. We have a secret knitting event at Miss Sonia's tonight. I'll post some pics later. Bye everyone!
