Mind Boggler #2

Juanita had 24 math problems for her homework. Her father made the following deal with her. He said, "I'll give you $5.00 for every problem you got right, but you pay me $3.00 for every problem you got wrong."
If Juanita broke even on this deal, how many problems did she get correct?

"Good Night, and Good Luck.".......^_^

okie here's my answer: Juanita :o) got 9 answers right. Below is my method. Now I must admit Thiennie gave me a head start, but I felt I still had to suffer through the method.

Juanita

24

120
72

12 * 5 = 60
12 * 3 = 36

11 * 5 = 55
13 * 3 = 39

10 * 5 = 50
14 * 3 = 42

9 * 5 = 45
15 * 3 = 45

I never got any special deals for doing my homework, or doing it well. I was just expected to do it, and do it well—else I had to deal with the worst ever...parental dissappointment—the worst thing EVAH!
