A man is stranded on one side of the river with a fox, a goose, and a bag of corn. He finds a boat, but it is too small to carry more than himself and one of the above items. To complicate matters, he must make sure that the fox does not eat the goose, and the goose does not eat the corn.
How can he safely transport all three items to the other side of the river?
Have a good weekend!

Take the goose
Alternate method: Tie a leash onto the goose and let it swim across behind the boat.
Alternate alternate method: Toss the corn across, take the goose and leave the fox behind. Why would he want the fox to come along anyway?
Alternate alternate alternate method: free the goose and fox and give the corn away to the poor. Meditate under a tree until he realizes that the grass is not greener on the other side of the river and that his ambition to cross it will only lead to suffering.
Alternate alternate alternate alternate method: Wait until Moses comes along, have him part the river and walk across.
OH gods! I hated these...I'll have to think about this over the weekend, else my head will explode and mess up Sarita's B-board. /me making a super human effort not to look over to the side, where the answers are.
Josey Wales, were you a Buddhist once?
Josey Wales is the official valedictorian now! (0)_(0)
I didn't know that outlaws were that smart! But please keep solving!
Miss Juanita! Your head hurts for a reason! It is because you are smart, and you have to chronologically process all the information in your head. Therefore, you might take a tad bit longer in time than others. So what?! You're still smart!
(An easier way is to look a Josey's answer and take credit.)
Mr. Rolf said he would wring the neck of the goose and eat it, kick the fox into the river because what the heck is he doing with a fox and then take the corn and cross the river.
Whoa there, Mr. Rolf. We gotta keep this blog clean. No violence please. Children read this blog.
Okie, I think I finally got it figured out...The man takes the goose over. He goes back and grabs the corn. He leaves the corn on the other side and brings the goose back with him. He leaves the goose and takes the fox over then he goes back to get the goose. Did I get it right?
Yeah! Miss Juanita! Not only did you solve the answer, you also wrote it in complete sentences. Good writing skills! ^_^
My dad use to ask us this type of riddle but it involved the man, a cow, a tiger and a bale of hay.
