Blooming Dogwood
Gosh, it's been a crazy day. Actually, it's been a manic pace for weeks now it seems. I wish we could take a holiday from everything. But mainly it's just a break from work. Lots of projects, lots of stress, lack of time and staff. Makes for not-so-fun days I'm afraid.
Anyway, today I post like mad b/c I wanted to do something fun for myself. Which means catching up on posting on all 3 blogs. There are 3 Dogwood trees that I know of in Seguin and I stopped at one that gave me easy access so that I could get some photos. I have been wanting to do this for a few years now so that I would have something to look at that really reminds me of NC, which I still miss though I have come to like living in TX. I'm even more adjusted to the crazy weather here. Crazy means hot, hot, hot and for a long time. And what's weird, I noticed, is that the heat reaches it's hottest late in the day. By that, I mean, the hottest part of the day is actually between 5pm and 10pm, sometimes it goes deep into the night! On the east coast (NC), the hottest part is typically 12pm and oh, about 3-4pm. So, it's just different I guess.
Oh, new plans for the evening. We're going to a hockey game. My first ever. I'm try and post something about it. Maybe I'll catch a cool shot of a fight. :)
