Celebratory Chocolate Bars

I love working for CMC. It's so different from the library and it's been very exciting to learn new things - not just a new industry altogether, but the way a for-profit does business. It's been awesome and I am happier than I have been in a very long time with my career. I do, however, miss many of the library folks I worked with for twelve years.

We reached a huge milestone at the Steel Texas location and for now, we're still included in the local celebrations (this will be changing soon as IT belongs to CMC Americas rather than CMC Steel Texas). In addition to 1 million ton melted, we also reached 1 million sold and shipped. That is super! And for that, we celebrated with these cool candy bars, followed by a hundred dollar bill for each ton milestone. Sweet! I love the label below. Yes, this is just a label and it's just on a candy bar BUT what I like is that (a)the company took this label and used it as a way to recognize the employees, without whom, we couldn't have reached this milestone, (b)the company paid attention to details, (c)they company knows how to have fun and (d)also knows how to pick a good candy (gonna have to see if Godiva's on their list...just kidding!) ;)

Creative ingredients and Nutritional facts. How fun and I love hearing your enthusiasm for your new line of work. That's not heard often these days.
