Snowy Delight
I am L-O-V-I-N-G the snow. It has been over 15 years since I've had the joy of a significant amount of snow and I had not idea how much I had missed it. There simply a gorgeousness to it and a beauty in the silence that typically accompanies the first day of snow. People are out and about in it yet. The ploughs and shovels and sanders haven't messed up the roads and parking lots yet. People and their animals haven't left their footprints everywhere. :-) The snowglobe effect is awesome! And boy am I happy about those warm boots Mark found for me! My feet are currently super dry and super warm. I love it.
Say...you notice how long my hair is getting?! I haven't cut it since June when Mai and the girls took me to this Vietnamese stylist guy - I loved their cuts and I love mine also. I'm scared to take myself anywhere else now because I don't want them to mess up the cut. People tell me if I just tell them to "follow" the cut, that should be ok but I've tried that before in the past and it has not worked. boo...what to do, what to do. I can't just fly to FL for a cut, right!? Anyway, just wanted to say, I'm enjoying long hair again. Let's see how long I can stand it.
On a completely separate note, check out the inside color of The Cupcakery in Gruene, Texas. It's the green of our laundry room! Loved it!
Loved everything about the experience despite the actual products (2 cupcakes - red velvet and wicked chocolate) were disappointing. We will go back and try a fresh one and give them a second chance so I hope it'll be better next time. I just don't know how they can keep them "fresh" if they are displayed out in the open and uncovered. I think that dries them out, don't you?

cute! And yes, snow is good in moderation. Personally, I've had enough for the year.
