Have you seen this before? I remember as a child, we ate these but I don't know their English name. My family knows the name in Viet. My new friends at Big Kahuna's (Viet. restaurant) gave it to me so I can try it but they don't know a English name for it either. The inside is like a nut or coconut meat in consistency. To me it is a very funny and odd food. It looks a little evil. El diablo! Look at those horns, and that bit of "hair!" Yikes.

These are kind of evilly looking. They'd make a great pendant though. I'm asking D to ask Dr. Van to see if she knows that they are called in English. P.S. Wait til you see my new skull shoes. They are so cool. :D
